Mini Implants

What Are Mini Implants?

Mini dental implants are smaller, thinner versions of standard dental implants, typically used to stabilize dentures. They consist of a single-piece titanium post with a ball-shaped end that fits into a rubber O-ring housed in the denture. These implants are less invasive, require minimal bone structure, and often do not require incisions or stitches.

Mini implants are ideal for patients who may not qualify for traditional implants due to bone loss or those seeking a faster, more affordable solution for stabilizing their dentures.

What is a Mini Implant Snap-On Supported Denture?

A Mini Implant Snap-On Denture is a removable full denture that securely snaps onto mini implants placed in the jaw. Typically, 4 to 6 mini implants are used per arch to hold the denture in place. The denture can be easily removed for cleaning, but when worn, it stays firmly attached, offering enhanced stability, comfort, and function compared to traditional dentures.

This option is a popular solution for patients who want better denture retention without undergoing complex or costly surgery.
